About Us

Below is a history of the two engineers who make up S & M Productions and their short but broad and extensive history in the music industry.

Matt

Matthew McLaren is guaranteed to blow you away the moment

he steps up to the keys. Not only is he a child prodigy

who has been playing since the age of three. He is also an

accomplished singer capable of providing backing vocals or

even lead if need be. Matthew has obtained honors in his

AMUSA through the Australian Music Examinations Board. As

a result Matthew is well versed in a multitude of styles

including classical, jazz, pop, rock, blues, latin,

reggae, hip hop and any other style you can think of.

Over the years Matthew has worked with several online

audio theater companies as a production engineer and has

had an extensive history of recording bands.

Due to his extensive musical history and knowledge of the

technical side of programming and of music in general he

is able to synthesize various layers which can be

performed in a live setting if need be. These parts can be

not only keyboard parts but bass, guitar, synth and any

other instruments which may not be acquirable on short

notice. Matthew is capable of learning songs on short

notice and performing them at gigs or on recordings as

needed.
